5 Quick Tips About SEO

Do you know what affects the ranking on Google??  SEO considers how search engines work, what people search for, the actual search terms or keywords typed into search engines and which search engines are preferred by their targeted audience. It targets different kinds of search which include image search, local search, video search and news search.

        1.  Optimize your TITLE TAG-

Title tags are part of the Meta tags that appear at the top of your HTML inside the < head> area. Think of title tags like the title of the chapter of a book. It tells people and search engine what your page is about. It is the first and foremost thing that one reads, and usually that’s how readers judge your entire page in just one sentence. So it is important that your title tag is catchy at the same time it should make sense.
So back to basics!  Nothing is more basically important to a site than properly written title tags. You know the ones that used to appear in the little blue bars in your browsers. Most modern browsers try to hide these, though that doesn't stop them being helpful!

2.CONTENT is the KING-

Google loves fresh content & it will definitely help you to get higher page ranking. The content on your page or site should be useful that will keep your users happy as well as attract new customers. Your content should be easy, friendly and refreshing to read. By content we mean anything from articles, videos, info graphics, slideshows, music, comments, reviews or anything else that is suited for your niche.
If your content and data is old, boring and static probably your readers will go away and never come back…! So it’s necessary to be up-to-date and fresh with your content.

3.Improve your site’s LOADING TIME-

Google is obsessed with loading speed....! And it makes sense why?! That’s because on one likes waiting, it’s boring and over rated. Slow loading pages are never favoured. Normally if you visit a page and it takes time you load you would probably change the site/page. Similarly your users will also change the page if your site takes time to load.
Some simple tips can dramatically change the loading speed of your page-

 A. Caching plugins enable your site to store copies of web pages, rather than generating them  dynamically each time a new visitor lands on your website. This reduces load times and speeds up  the performance of your site.

 B. If possible, reduce your image sizes and resolutions using a program like Photoshop and consider  storing large documents in zip files.

 C. Use plugins wisely.
